Drawing and painting on the Wadden Sea
Drawing and painting on the Wadden Sea
Get away from it all. No obligations, no routine. A beautiful, challenging, inspiring week full of creativity and relaxation. We will draw, paint, sail, enjoy, admire, and marvel. Every day, we will spend a few hours painting/drawing with fun exercises and new techniques. Monica Schilder, our enthusiastic and inspiring teacher, will provide a theoretical framework from which we will experiment and practice. Weather permitting, we will draw and paint outside. If the weather is less favorable, we have plenty of space to work at the large tables in the daycare center.
Wadden Sea UNESCO World Heritage Site
The Wadden Sea, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a paradise for nature lovers and adventurers. Sailing on the Wadden Sea means letting yourself be carried along by the wind and the current, searching for the channels between the high sandbanks and allowing yourself to be guided by the forces of nature around you. Wadden Sea sailing is both peaceful and adventurous, and you get to enjoy one of the most beautiful nature reserves in the Netherlands.
Who is it for?
Are you an experienced painter or sailor, or do you just feel like trying something new? There is room for both during this trip.
This trip is designed for anyone who wants to experience something beautiful, enjoy nature, and the tranquility of the Wadden Sea.
There is always something to do or experience: walking through the dunes of Terschelling, falling dry on the Wadden Sea and looking for shellfish for dinner, strolling through picturesque villages and towns on the IJsselmeer coast, or sitting endlessly on a terrace to enjoy the view and the beautiful weather.
