Travel Preparation

• Travel bag instead of a suitcase, as there is not that much storage space in the cabins.
• Sleeping bag or your own quilt, can also be rented. On board there is a pillow with cover and a mattress equipped with sheet.
• Comfortable and convenient clothing, in which you can also move around easily.
• Warm clothes and “nice weather” clothes.
• Rainwear (rain pants and jacket), can also be used as a windstopper. Very important: Many guest/pupils forget this, get wet on board and are then cold! Also please always pack in summer!
• Scarf, gloves and hats are also (almost always) recommended.
• Comfortable and sturdy footwear, such as gym or hiking shoes
  Perhaps rubber boots or swimming shoes for a mudflat hike.
• Towels or beach towels.
• Tea towels, towels, kitchen towels, (ecological) dishwashing and cleaning products, garbage bags and toilet paper.
• Clothing and toiletries
• Sunscreen, sun hat, sunglasses, swimwear
• Possible medication
• Games, music, instruments, binoculars, photo camera, flashlight
• Pocket money, identity card, insurance card, cell phone

Have an extra backpack packed for the bus ride:

• Drinks (especially water) and food, fruits and sweets
• Pocket money, identity card, insurance card, cell phone

For the teachers on the bus:

• Bring extra water if necessary (if it is very hot)
• First aid kit
• “permission lists” and phone numbers of parents, (collect pocket money, insurance cards and identity cards if needed, depending on age of students)
