Summer sailing cruise Elizabeth
Sail aboard the Elizabeth during this special summer sailing trip and discover the historic towns around the former Zuiderzee and the beautiful Wadden Islands at a relaxed pace. On board, you will experience peace, space and a real sense of adventure.
Day 1 – Zaandam
From 2 p.m., you will board the comfortable Elizabeth in Amsterdam. The hospitable crew will welcome you with a delicious cup of coffee. Once everyone is on board, you will receive a brief explanation about sailing on deck and the lines will be cast off. The first leg will take you to Zaandam. In the evening, you can take a stroll through the charming city centre and settle down on a cosy terrace.
Day 2 – Den Helder
After breakfast, it's time to set sail. You will sail towards Den Helder via the North Holland Canal, passing characteristic villages and countless windmills. On deck, you can enjoy the view and the silence of the water.
Day 3 – Texel
Today you will cross over to Texel via the Marsdiep. The Elizabeth moors in the harbour of Oudeschild. On the island you can enjoy cycling or walking, for example through the dunes or through the charming village of De Koog. The Juttersmuseum is also highly recommended: here you can discover unusual beach finds and stories from real beachcombers.
Day 4 – Terschelling
This will be a wonderful day of sailing. If you feel like it, you can help with the sails, but reading or relaxing on deck is also fine, of course. Along the way, you will regularly see seals lazing on the sandbanks. In the afternoon, you will arrive in West-Terschelling. Here you will find wide beaches, nice shops and cosy terraces. You can also enjoy yourself from the deck in the harbour.
Day 5 – Harlingen
After breakfast, you will set sail for Harlingen. This old Frisian seaport is known for its beautiful canal houses. Stroll through the historic streets and enjoy a drink by the water.
Day 6 – Enkhuizen
At Kornwerderzand, you will pass through the lock onto the IJsselmeer. Then you will sail west towards Enkhuizen, where you will arrive in the afternoon. This charming harbour town exudes maritime history.
Day 7 – Amsterdam
You will sail back to Amsterdam across the IJsselmeer and Markermeer. Along the way, you can actively participate in sailing and enjoy iconic views, such as the Paard van Marken lighthouse.
The next day after breakfast, it will be time to say goodbye. Disembarkation is possible until 9:00 a.m.

Price per person in EUR based on full board: including accommodation, meals, drinks at breakfast and lunch, bed linen, final cleaning and guidance. Soft drinks and alcoholic beverages are available on board. Maximum 20 guests. The main booker must be 21 years or older.
