Experience sailing on the traditional sailing ship the Zeven Wouden. You will roam the IJsselmeer and the Wadden Sea with the crew, enjoy meals prepared together, and experience the cozy atmosphere on board and in the various harbors.
Where is the trip?
This trip allows you to discover the IJsselmeer and the Wadden Sea from an authentic flat-bottomed sailing ship. You will depart from the port of Stavoren, a great base for anyone who loves sailing in Friesland or a relaxing sailing holiday in the Netherlands. You will enjoy beautiful sailing days, historic harbor towns, and the tranquility of nature. Sail on towards the Wadden Sea, where you will sail between sandbanks, spot seals, and experience the space and freedom of the mudflats.
Who is it for?
Whether you are an experienced sailor or have never held a rope before, this trip is for everyone. Our experienced crew will be happy to teach you the basics, but you can also just relax and enjoy the view and nature. The trip is suitable for solo travelers, friends, or families and offers a wonderful opportunity to share a special experience together. All meals are carefully prepared on board, so you can enjoy a delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner between sailing.
Program:
On Friday evening, you can board in Stavoren from 8 p.m. After assigning cabins, the entire group will meet with the crew. Skipper Janine will then explain the approximate schedule for the coming days. On Saturday morning after breakfast, we will cast off. Around 4 p.m., we will moor in a harbor, where you will have the opportunity to take a walk. Anyone who feels like it can help with the cooking on board. In the evening, you can enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and conviviality on board. On Sunday and Monday, the sails will be set after breakfast and the next port of call will be reached in the afternoon.
On Monday, the Zeven Wouden will return to its home port of Stavoren around 4 p.m., where you will say goodbye to the group and the crew.

Disembarkation: Tuesday, May 26, 4:00 p.m. in Stavoren
Price per person in EUR based on full board: including accommodation (bunk bed), meals, drinks, guidance, and final cleaning.
