With its 6-metre width, clipper Zeester is a slender flat-bottomed vessel that is very suitable for sailing the Friesian inland lakes. But this sailing ship also comes into its own on the IJsselmeer and the Wadden Sea. When you enter, you will be amazed at the amount of space. The dayroom is cosily decorated and with the kitchen elevated, the kitchen crew can also look outside while sailing. From here you are also immediately on deck in the spacious cockpit where there is a cosy seating area. This is a great place to relax during sailing as well as in the ports along the IJsselmeer and Waddenzee.
Skilled skipper/owner
After years of sailing, skipper Christiaan Huisman still enjoys sharing his experience with his guests. Weather, wind, navigation and sailing, especially schoolchildren can learn a lot from him. And if the wind gets stronger, Christiaan knows how to find the most beautiful spots on the Frisian lakes with his clipper Zeester. Companies, families and students will quickly feel at home with the social and friendly crew.
Schools
The Zeester is very suitable for school trips. The two single cabins allow accompanying staff to sleep separately, making optimal use of the 32 beds. Home port Lemmer is easily accessible from the motorway and there are good parking facilities, also for coaches.
